Glide through the streets of Florence on the coolest ride of the 21st century - a Segway! You'll have the time of your life while discovering the many wonders of this wonderful Renaissance city. Far easier than walking, and more unique and private than a coach tour, getting around Florence on a Segway personal transporter is a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

While you ride your two-wheeled electric Segway, which operates by self-balancing, you'll listen to your audio guide via a set of headphones and hear entertaining facts and anecdotes about the history of Florence as you glide.

You could almost consider this a private tour, since groups are limited to a minimum of two and a maximum of six, plus tour leader. You'll have fantastic photo opportunities and excellent personal service from your professional guide.

Your tour starts with a 30-minutes orientation session. Once you feel comfortable riding the Segway, your journey begins to the historic center of town. Here you will have the opportunity to visit (exterior only) all the important areas of Florence while listening to your audio-guide comfortably through your headpiece set.

• Segways are appropriate for virtually anyone 12 years and older.
• Riders must have the ability to make motions such as climbing and descending stairs without assistance.
• Segways are not suitable for guests who weigh under 100 pounds (45 kilos) or over 250 pounds (113 kilos).
• It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes. Please do not carry large bags whilst on the Segway.
• Not recommended for pregnant women
