Our return visit to Capri 34 years later was just as spectacular. Everything was well organized and the guides very helpful. It was a wonderful Mother's Day! You get a lot for your money- all transportation, guides, and a lovely lunch. What more could you ask for.

Let me start by saying Capri is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen and I am SO thankful that we went. That said, if I were to do it again, I would probably not do it this way. The primary reason is that we were gone more than 14 hours from Rome but only spent 4 hours on the island. Again, it was worth it, but I would find an alternate way to explore Capri. We sat next to a couple on the boat that had taken the express train from Rome to Naples and it only took about an hour. It took us over 3 hours to do that same trip on the bus. The tour was smooth and went well, it was just a long day with not quite enough time on the island. But I am still so thankful to experience Capri. We went to the Blue Grotto as well as took the chairlift to the top. You MUST do both, it was amazing. I'm in love with Capri!

There's nothing wrong with the trip itself. It's just too much time and effort spent to achieve a very short window of Capri viewing in a single day trip from Rome lasting 14 to 15 hours. Capri is beautiful but one hesitates to suggest it to others in this format of day trip.
