Departing from Cape Town and ending in Port Elizabeth, the Four Day Garden Route Splendor will show you the highlights of this famous South African region. Enjoy the natural beauty and stunning scenery as you travel at a leisurely pace.

Two nights will be spent in the Knysna, a town prettily sitting between the impressive Outeniqua Mountains and the Indian Ocean. Authentic African traders favor this town and it is a great place to pickup a few genuine handicraft souvenirs to take home with you.

See the natural wonder of Cango Caves and visit one of only 3 Ostrich Show Farms' in the area of Oudtshoorn.

Itinerary:

Day One: Cape Town - Oudtshoorn

Travel Route 62 via Montagu and the "Klein Karoo" to Oudtshoorn, ostrich capital of the world. Overnight is in Oudtshoorn and dinner is included.Overnight accommodation: Queens Hotel or similar

Day Two: Oudtshoorn - Knysna

After breakfast tour the vast, colorful limestone Cango Caves, and visit an Ostrich "show farm", one of only 3 in the area. Travel to quaint Knysna for the opportunity to enjoy some shopping.Overnight accommodation: Protea Hotel Knysna Quays or similar

Day Three: Knysna

Leisurely start with breakfast and then a lagoon cruise to Featherbed Nature Reserve. Enjoy a trailer ride to the top of the Western Head and walk back through the milkwood trees for lunch. Afternoon at leisure at hotel and overnight in Knysna. Overnight accommodation: Protea Hotel Knysna Quays or similar

Day Four: Knysna - Port Elizabeth

After breakfast travel via Tsitsikamma Forests to Port Elizabeth where the tour ends. You may disembark, on request, at Port Elizabeth Airport if you are departing the same day.
