The English-language comedy shows are an exhilarating mix of sharp writing, quick improvisation, music, video and spectacle. Social Media Circus is about how Facebook, Hyves, LinkedIn and Twitter have changed our lives. Foursquare not so much. With sketch comedy, improvisation, stand-up, video and music, Boom Chicago’s 37th production is for everyone with a smart phone in their pocket and a computer on their desk. 
Social Media Circus uses the internet in an innovative way for a live comedy show. We get information from the web as well as post to our social network that we create that night. This allows us to connect with our audience and our audience to connect with each other.

Can’t Dutch This
Can’t Dutch This combines scripted material, trademark improvisation, lights, music, and video to create a show that starts big and never slows down. You get brand new material plus a mix of Boom’s favorite scenes and improvisations from the past 17 years. It is a recipe for a hilarious night out.

 Start your Saturday with a shot! Gather your friends and head to Boom Chicago for our exciting, fast-paced, all-improvised party: Shot of Improv.
The entire Boom cast performs which means guaranteed laughs. These are the funniest improvisers in Europe.
The show is raw, edgy and completely different every week. Shot of Improv starts big and never slows down. 70 minutes later, it's gone.

Metamorphosis
The best of the past and the best of the future! This hysterical hybrid combines material from the Best of Boom with scenes from our new production scheduled for this spring.
The laughs don't stop there. After many shows, we offer a free third act filled with improvisation and sketch comedy. This is where the newest ideas germinate and come to life!
