Beautiful drive and ruins. Great lunch at Hotel Amalia. Knowledgable guide and comfortable bus for the long day. Highly recommended. Once in a lifetime day!Reviewed by: SHANNON L, October 2013
An excellent trip which I thoroughly enjoyed.Reviewed by: Leslie V, December 2013
An interesting, informative day with a very knowledgeable guide. We would have liked more time at the site itself. Those of us who wanted to walk to the top to see the stadium had to run back to get to the bus on time. I would also have liked to visit the Athena shrine at the bottom of the hill, rather than just driving by. It has one of the most intact temples, but we only got a glimpse of it from the bus window. Although the view from the lunch break was nice and the food was good, maybe a faster lunch stop could be arranged so people had more time at the site itself.Reviewed by: Bennington, November 2013
Visiting Delphi was a worthwhile destination. The antiquity was very interesting. A full day trip requires an expert guide. Our guide was not. Although knowledgeable, she needs to learn how to communicate the most important information in an interesting way instead of talking and talking and repeating, in a disorganized way. She took phone calls and overall did not appear to be enjoying her job or the people on her tour. We would have enjoyed being told where the bus was and what time to meet there and then let us experience Delphi on our own.Reviewed by: Carol N, October 2013
Kinda cool, but not worth the drive. Guide was well versed, but a long day.Reviewed by: Ira, October 2013
