This tour was excellent. The driver was extremely knowledgeable and we learned SO much about the history and culture of Maui. We made several stops for photos, plus extended stops at a black sand beach, the Seven Sacred Pools, a delicious organic farmers market lunch in Hana, and a wine tasting on the way back. It was great being able to sit back and enjoy the amazing views instead of having to drive. We also drove the "Back Road to Hana," which was a highlight for me, and a road that not many other people drive on their own. Highly recommended!!!Reviewed by: Laura All Over, USA, January 2013
The tour guide was great! He was very knowledgeable about Maui and the history of the Hana and its agriculture and plant life. He took us to the Seven Sacred Pools, countless waterfalls, an organic farm to table for lunch, black beach sand, a free wine tasting vineyard, amongst others. He was a fountain of information. I learned so much that day, and saw so many beautiful sites!Reviewed by: Clyde, USA, January 2013
Tour guide Tom was a wealth of information, quick wit and good humor. The best way to see a good portion of the island, but a tad long for me. But I would tell anyone to do it once because you will see and learn a lot. Loved the Hana lunch.Reviewed by: Doreen W, May 2013
Amazing trip - the differences between the windward and leeward sides for the island is just unbelievable. Our guide was great, and definitely knew his stuff, especially about the native flora. Unfortunately we didn't get to swim due to the weather, but would've been pushed for more than a quick dip anyway as the schedule is quite tight. The tour bus seated about 18, we had 12 on our trip. It was a full day, and parts of the road are quite rough and on the edge of a cliff, so I wouldn't recommend this if you have a bad back or couldn't cope with a bumpy road. Otherwise, this is a must-do trip on Maui!Reviewed by: Christina N, Australia, April 2013
Will do it again and my concern was the non inclusion of lunch. Tour guide very informed. Great experience and thank you.Reviewed by: Ann L S, April 2013
