With a maximum group size of 15 people, your 5-Day Best of Scotland Experience will depart from Glasgow and head off through the lowland countryside to reach the remote Scottish Highlands. There will be time for monster-spotting at Loch Ness before ending your first day in a choice of selected B&B or hotel accommodation.
En route to the Isle of Skye, you will visit the stunning Glen Affric (often described as Scotland's most beautiful glen) and pass the rugged, bare peaks of the Torridon Mountains. At Skye itself, you'll have the opportunity to explore the island's beautiful beaches and jagged coastlines, framed by the dark and brooding Cuillin Mountains.
Learn about Scotland's enticing history and culture as you travel south down the West Coast, passing iconic Scottish sights such as Ben Nevis and Glen Coe. Before returning to Glasgow, there is a final stop at Kilmartin Glen, famed for its rich historical legacy that is charted by more than 350 ancient monuments around the site.

Reiseplan:
Day 1 - Highlands to Loch NessHead north from Glasgow through the lowland countryside of Fife and Perthshire. Take a woodland walk around the quaint village of Dunkeld, and see its cathedral where Jacobite battles raged in bygone times. Travel into the heart of the Highlands and explore Loch Ness, where you may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of Nessie (the fabled Loch Ness monster). Weather permitting, you may be able to take a cruise on Loch Ness before returning to your choice of B&B or hotel accommodation.
Day 2 - Mountains, Castles and the Magical Isle of Skye (B)
Explore the stunning scenery of Glen Affric, renowned for its beautiful blend of forests, lochs and rugged hills. Stroll over to one of the many shimmering waterfalls, surrounded by the ancient Caledonian forest. Your tour will continue past the Torridon Mountains, and if time/weather permits, you may have a chance to visit the romantic Eilean Donan Castle.
Day 3 - A Day to explore the Isle of Skye (B)
Spend your third day at leisure amid the awe-inspiring scenery of the Isle of Skye. Lose yourself exploring its tiny villages, or relax on the white sand beaches shadowed by the Cuillin Mountains, the Quiraing Hills and the incredible Trotternish Peninsula.
Day 4 - High Hills and History (B)
Travel south past Ben Nevis (Britain's highest peak), and see Scotland's spectacular West Coast scenery. The tour passes the eerie landscape of Glen Coe, scene of the bloody massacre of the MacDonald Clan in ancient times.
Day 5 - Ancient Scotland at Your Feet (B)
The last day of your 5-Day Best of Scotland Experience is spent at Kilmartin Glen, one of the most important archeological sites in Europe. Walk in the footsteps of the first Scots at Dunadd Hill Fort and see the Temple Wood Stone Circle before returning to Glasgow.
